Let's Keep In Touch!

Life has been full lately

October 7, 2015

It sure has been a long time since I have written on here! To those that read along with this little blog, I’m sorry for lack of posts! To summarize, life has simply been full for our family lately. Full with the best things. For starters, we sold our home and bought a new one all in a months time. We moved and then three days later went on an awesome trip to CA to visit family and celebrate my sisters wedding. We have been unpacking and getting settled. Our son started pre-k. All awesome things! But it has left so little time for updating on here and I am excited to be back!

As we settle into our home and get used to the commute with school, we are trying to get back in the swing of things and get some sort of something resembling a routine. Last night my hubby and I had a date night and it was so great! I just love date night. It’s so good to just set aside whatever responsibilities or serious stuff you have going on and just enjoy each other. I forget where I read it but I love the saying that fun in a marriage isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. Couldn’t agree more! Coffee and shopping is usually our thing and we enjoyed it to the full!

Looking forward to sharing about things we do in our new home and other fun things like that. Great to be back!

Do you do date night? What’s your favorite date night activity?

Congratulations on your home, what a blessong. We are so happy for your family ! Glad you are back too! Your blog is great.
Date night is super important to Ray and I, in fact it’s mandatory every Friday night. It’s not only a time to spend uninterupted quality time together, but most importantly having fun together, and experiencing new places and events. It’s good for the kids to see the importance of their parents putting their relationship as a priority too. Now that our kids are older, we started implementing a mandatory extended vacation , at least once a year, just the two of us. We just returned from our 15 day European adventure on a Mediterranean cruise. It was an amazing time together, sharing special times and new places. Love your blog keep it up. Love and kisses to you and your beautiful family ♡
